One of the things that is supposed to be so helpful about prohibited signs is that they convey to you, without the need of language, what you can or can not do. As a tragic mono-linguist travelling in China, I wasn't sure what this stopped me doing for 50m. I hope I didn't do whatever it said. Does anyone know what it means?

I think that is a "Do not park within 50m of this sign"
...Although I'm not 100% sure.
So it could still be "Do not *insert whatever your head can possibly think of* for 50m"
